This first of a new collection from The Writers’ Rooms community demonstrates our artists’ imaginations when faced with the enormity of Winter. In story, poetry, essay, and art, IOWA [W]RITES of WINTER presents a multifaceted universe where first love can be found…Where the wronged and abused find the courage to escape…Where role-playing becomes real.

From joyous and humorous, all the way to action-laden and scary, IOWA [W]RITES of WINTER takes you on a journey through the ingenious imaginations of our literary community. With their contributions, they give expression to our relationship to Winter in all it’s glorious variety and forms.
