Leslie grew up barefoot in the unseen wilds of Chicago, sharpening sticks with a pocketknife and keeping imagination close. From a young age, Leslie told stories to siblings and cousins, learned to write, learned to type, and cycled back to telling stories: bedtime stories. Leslie writes dynamic character-driven stories.
